Getting ready for the winter

I’m guessing we pretty much skipped fall this time. I has some pretty fall outwear for Dylan and me and we won’t be able to wear it because the last few days it got so, so cold. It was really warm a few days ago and suddenly it dropped to near freezing temperatures.

The good news is that I enjoy winter. I don’t enjoy the wind that we get sometimes here in the city, but other than that I like the cold weather. So does my husband and Dylan. Dylan though, suffers with his winter eczema. But we’re making sure to keep his skin extra hydrated and will make another post later sharing what we use.

One of the things I love about the winter is the amazing outwear. I like good outwear so we don’t need to layer a bunch. When the coat is good, you don’t need 2478295 t-shirts and sweaters underneath. I think that’s one of the most important things for Dylan, too. With a decent outwear he is able to move around, play, and be warm.

I recently receive a few items for Catimini, a brand that I always have loved, and it’s perfect for this season. They sent Dylan an amazing winter parka that it’s everything he needed for the cold season. The parka comes with a vest underneath and you can choose to use with out without it. As I said, it’s perfect and I’m my big boy (that’s the way he likes to be called now) will be able to enjoy this winter and maybe the next one with the same jacket too. That’s what I’m hoping for!

Catimini is a French brand, but they sell in the US too. We also got a pair of pants that Dylan is basically using every single day, because it’s comfy, cute and warm, a really cool t-shirt and a shirt. And after all that, I’m definitely buying a few more items.  If you guys want 20% of you entire purchase until December 31st, use the code FERNANDA20.  Here are some photos of Dylan wearing Catimini. 🙂

Thank you, Catimini for the pieces sent to Dylan.
